Travel to Glasgow

There are several airport options when flying into Glasgow, the closest of these being Glasgow International Airport located 6.8 miles from Glasgow city centre, around a 15-minute drive, which is easily accessible by public transport The Glasgow Airport Express Bus Service 500 runs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from the airport to the city centre at a cost of £8.50 single or £14.00 open return. Alternatively taxis will cost in the region of £20.
Glasgow Prestwick Airport is located 27.8 miles from the city centre, a 45-minute drive, which is again easily accessible by public transport, with trains running regularly from Glasgow central to Prestwick Airport.
Edinburgh Airport is located 34.8 miles away from Glasgow city centre, around a 55-minute drive to Glasgow city centre, with trains and buses connecting the two regularly.

There are two main railway station in the city, Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street.

How to Get to Ibrox Stadium (Rangers FC)
Rail – Regular direct trains run from Glasgow Central Station to the closest railway station – Dumbreck, a 20-minute walk from the stadium.
Bus – The closest bus stop to Ibrox Stadium is Edmiston Drive, which is a 5-minute walk away
Subway – Take the subway from either Buchanan Street or St Enoch’s to Ibrox subway station is a 5-minute walk from the stadium
How to Get to Celtic Park (Celtic FC)
Rail – Trains from Glasgow Central or Argyle Street to Dalmarnock and Bridgeton take you to within a fifteen-minute walk to the Stadium.
Alternatively, trains from Queen Street Station to Bellgrove put you approximately 1 mile from the stadium.
Bus – From Glasgow City Centre, the No. 2, 61, 64, 255 and 240 buses stop at the Forge Shopping Centre located on the Gallowgate, please alight here where you will be approximately 1 mile from the Stadium.
VISA - Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)
ETAs will be mandatory for travel to the UK and are being introduced in several stages for different nationalities, over the next few months.
