Professor Rob Cooper
Liverpool Heart & Chest Hospital, Liverpool, UK
Rob is a consultant cardiologist with a specialist interest in cardiomyopathy, sports cardiology and cardiac MRI. His clinical practice is at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital where he looks after a series of athletes with a variety of cardiac conditions along with a large population of patients with conditions predisposing to sudden cardiac death. He holds a chair in Cardiology and Sports Science at Liverpool John Moores University. He is the cardiologist for a series of football clubs in the north west of England including Liverpool FC and sits of the FA Cardiology expert consensus panel.
Professor Franco Impellizzeri

Dr Franco Impellizzeri is a professor in sport and exercise science and medicine, with an extensive experience in applied sport science (both as a researcher and practitioner) and orthopaedics (clinical outcome studies and clinimetrics). His research interests include research methodology and various aspects of exercise science (training and testing) for both high performance and health-oriented outcomes. Franco has trained top level Olympic athletes in different disciplines (winter and summer sports) and collaborated with international sport organisations.
Professor PETER KRUSTRUP
University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark
Peter Krustrup is Professor of Sport and Health Sciences at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense, Denmark, and Honorary Visiting Professor of Sport and Health Sciences at Exeter University, UK. He is also a UEFA Pro-License Coach. He has authored 420 original research articles, of which 190 deals the fitness and health effects of football and other sports, and another 110 with physical-tactical-technical match analyses, fatigue, recovery, training and testing in elite football. He started his pioneering research in Football for Health back in 2003 and is now the leader of a group of 300 researchers in 25 countries.
dr Katrine okholm kryger
St Mary’s University, London, UK
Dr Katrine Okholm Kryger joined the sports rehabilitation group at St Mary’s University Twickenham London in September 2020 from a position within sports and exercise medicine at Queen Mary University of London. Kat was awarded her PhD from the Sports Technology Institute at Loughborough University in 2018 developing and validating human test protocols for human football boot testing. Her background also includes an MSc in Biomedical Engineering.

Professor Oxborough has over 170 peer reviewed articles on the assessment of cardiac adaptation in health and disease, with a primary focus on the athletes heart. He is also the Co-Chair of the Education Committee of the British Society of Echocardiography and sits on the Football Associations Cardiology Consensus Panel.
dr Ian Shrier
Lady Davis Institute, McGill University, Quebec, Canada
Dr. Shrier has been a practicing sport and exercise medicine physician for over 30 years, with a PhD in Physiology, and post-doctoral training in Epidemiology. He has over 290 peer-reviewed publications on various topics including causal inference, injury epidemiology and meta-analyses. As a physician, causal inference methods have helped him improve the care of his patients.

Professor Unnithan has published extensively on the impact of high-intensity soccer training on changes in cardiac structure and function in elite youth soccer players.
Professor MARK WILLIAMS
Loughborough University, West Kirby, England, UK
Professor Williams is world-leading expert on talent identification and development. He has published almost 300 journal articles in peer-reviewed outlets in numerous fields including exercise and sports science, experimental psychology, neuroscience and medicine. He is a Chartered Psychologist and Scientist and is accredited by BASES to work with high-performance athletes. He has worked extensively as a consultant in high-performance sport and other professional domains over the last 30 years. He has worked with industry partners, such as Nike and Umbro, and the Department of Defence, SOCOM, and DARPA in the United States, as well as governing bodies of sport (e.g., The FA, FIFA, UEFA, UK Sport, USOC) and professional sports teams (e.g., Liverpool, Everton, West Ham).
